We are presenting the Hand colored photography of Tami Phelps.
Tami Phelps is a hand color photography artist who works out of her studio loft in Anchorage, Alaska. She enjoys the creative
process of hand coloring by getting her hands dirty using dyes, watercolors, colored pencils. and oils as she applies color to
interpret her black and white photographs. Her work does not include digital manipulation, hence the term, "hand coloring". 48° N Paris
is her most recent collection and was inspired by the movie Amélie, and her trip to Paris in May 2010, Tami’s work has been accepted
in statewide and regional juried exhibits, receiving awards, and is included in the permanent collection of the Anchorage Museum
of History and Art.
